We were out so far that my GPS was showing Cat Cay and Bimini as the closest land references......It was a Sunday and the sea was friendly.
We had the whole family on board (except the baby of course) and every weed line for miles was covered up with the usual weekend warrior
crowd so we kept heading further offshore. We had ballyhoos on lures and some feathers out. The cow probably about 12 - 15 lbs hit one
skirted ballyhoo and the bull hit a few seconds later on that plastic lure in the pics. Then they went in two diiferent directions, both on 30lb gear.

We thought the Bull was big, like the 30 - 40 lb club when he jumped but he had taken a lot of line out so thats why we underestimated his size.
We chased the cow down first b/c we knew it would be a quick fight for her. No problems there, except the bull was taking line the whole time
on the Shimano TLD 25. After we boated her we backed down to the bull for a while just to regain line. He fought up on top the whole time and
really put on a show. We got to a point where we were on him for over 30 mins and we could only get him so close but when he saw the boat
get closer he would peel off again.

We decided to back down again on him and while we were able to get closer in linear distance he went deep....not good. It was kind of a see
saw battle at that point. We just kept the pressure on him and prayed he did nt have a huge hole in his mouth or anything that a big head
shake would free him. He came by the boat once and we got a good head shot and boated him.

Note, this fish is not "like" 51 lbs, it was 51 lbs as we weighed him at the Miami Beach Marina Scales. The Monty's crowd was pretty funny
during that. We ended up filleting it on my dock box and I think everyone has been eating dolphin for 2 days.
